  2. Rocket Screen • Tackles- Pass Set and Go- Block the Sidewalk (Numbers to Sideline) • Guards- Pass Set and Go- Block the Alley (Hash to Numbers) • Center- Block Strong on Nose or 1 tech, Go Inside Alley Call Side

Rocket Double Screen Right F C $ W M C E T T E S • QB Will Catch, Pivot, and Throw • Call Side Runs Rocket, Backside Runs Swing • TE Cracks Mike • Backside WR Cracks #2 • Backside RB Runs Swing • Frontside Back Dives Into Line Towards Sam • Frontside WR Rocker Steps Forward and comes back through the ball • Tackles Have the Sidewalk • Guards Have the Alley • Center Has Inside Alley

Rocket Double Screen Left F C $ W M C E T T E S • QB Will Catch, Pivot, and Throw • Call Side Runs Rocket, Backside Runs Swing • TE Cracks Mike • Backside WR Cracks #2 • Backside RB Runs Swing • Frontside Back Dives Into Line Towards DE • Frontside WR Rocker Steps Forward and comes back through the ball • Tackles Have the Sidewalk • Guards Have the Alley • Center Has Inside Alley

  5. Liz Rocket Mirror F C $ W M C R E T T E • We now have a rocket to both sides • If the defense inverts coverage with motion, QB will throw the backside • The motion forces the defense to make a choice

  6. Using Sprint Out • We Use Two Protections- Turn Back and Full Zone Reach • We can use a lead back, or use the back as a swing player • The Offensive Line looks to lock the box • We can look to run first • We use a smash concept on the playside

Installing The Sprint Out Game • Changes the drop point of the QB making it harder for the defense to get pressure • We can full sprint or half sprint • Allows us a run and pass threat • We can work two and three man route combinations to the playside • We can incorporate the dash series as well

Even Rip Sprint Right Right Vs C-3 F • O Line Uses Turn Back Protection • Back logs or cuts EMOL • #1 runs a slant out • #2 runs a 12 Yard Corner Route • Motion or #3 runs a 10 yard stick looking for the void • QB gains depth then attacks the force defender • Progression is Corner-Flat-Stick • We can run this full zone protection C C W M $ S E T T E

Even Rip Sprint Right Vs C-3 Full Zone F • O Line Uses Turn Back Protection • Back Runs Deep Swing/Pitch Route • #1 runs 10 Yard Out • #2 runs a 14 Yard Corner Route • Motion or #3 runs a 10 yard stick looking for the void • QB gains depth then attacks the force defender • Progression is Corner-Flat-Stick • QB is looking for the seam and will pitch off the force defender C C W M $ S E T T E

  12. Keys To The Sprint Out • QB Works to gain depth- Get to 7 yards and attack LOS • Read the Force Defender for run option • Receivers must find the voids in the defense • Versus Man Coverage personnel change to create a mismatch on the backer • Look to get the ball deep first
