Prabhavathi Ganesan, an accomplished Veena artist for the past 50 years, is a disciple of Veena Maestro, Sri Chittibabu. Her first public Veena performance was at the age of 16, at the Shankara Madam, Chennai, India. She is an accredited artist at All India Radio and has given numerous concerts throughout the world. She has conducted Veena and vocal workshops in USA, UK, Canada, Australia and Sri Lanka. She has won numerous awards for excellence in performance, including the Kalaimamani Award, the highest recognition for arts, from the Tamil Nadu government. Kalaimamani Prabhavathi Ganeshan Sri Ravi Subramanian started his musical journey at 6 when he came under the tutelage of Kumbakonam Sri Rajappa Iyer. He had his advanced training under the famous Mannanagudi Sri A. Easwaran in 1989 and is continuing to learn from him. Sri Ravi has accompanied accomplished professionals from India like Dr. N Ramani, The Carnatica Brothers (Sashikiran, Ganesh ), Jayalakshmi Santhanam, O.S. Sudha. He conducts a school of rhythm called Swaralaya in Chicago. Donation of $10 per adult/ $ 20 per family to CM center will be appreciated.
