APICS Great Lakes in New Orleans International Conference October 18-21 in New Orleans APICS Great Lakes District – A leader in the Association Call to Action • New Orleans educates about 65,000 per year • Homeless population is about 4% Post-Katrina • Translates to about 2500 students are homeless Great Lakes District has 4350 members We are challenging each chapter to donate $1 per member District will provide up to $20 per chapter to bring total collection to $5000

  3. Helping to improve a Student’s learning potential Providing Paper and Pencils Feeds a Student Eases the pressure of being homeless Shows our host city we care

  4. Next Steps Ask your Chapter Board to budget for a donation to the District Send Checks to Keith Johnson Reach out to your members to donate to the cause Leave a mark on the city that APICS Great Lakes District Cares about their students.
