Changes • ACCESS for ELLs® replaces CELApro • Same student demographic data variables, testing environment, security and student enrollment/data requirements as other assessments • Different examiner and administration procedures than other assessments • Foreign exchange students must be assessed in 2012-2013 • Verification of District Testing Window separated from Verification of District Training • Physical Disability Category reporting updated 4

Physical Disabilities Categories Use this procedure only if your district is identifying this new data For a physical disability, shade Primary Disability 7; Physical Disability and shade only one of the following… State Use 7: Orthopedic Impairment State Use 8: Other Health Impairment State Use 9: Physical Disability 5

Clarifications • The Testing Environment(Section 10) • Posted Materials Guidelines now include name tags • Study carrels (described under “seating” in Section 10.1) • Students reading upon completion of a test session Section (14.8) • Secure test materials that may be reproduced by the DAC (Section 6.3) • Non-secure test materials, Section (6.4) • When a testing window is “almost over” CoAlt and ACCESS for ELLs (Sections 13.4 and 13.5) 6

Reorganization Personnel and training information are now combined into one section Test materials location and handling are now combined into one section All administration procedures, before, during, and after the assessment are combined into one section Security and Misadministrations have been separated into their own sections 7
