  1. Welcome to the 2014 Senior Meeting! Please find a seat nearest to the stage and wait quietly for our first presenter.

Career Center News • Follow us on @ CIHScareercente • Dollars for Scholars • If you have already created a profile, you may now login to your account, click “My Scholarships” and complete the prompts to submit your profile to each individual scholarship. • A tutorial for applying to these scholarships can be found on the Career Center website under the “Scholarships” tab. The title is “DFS Apply to Scholarships.”

  3. Career Center News (cont.) • Other Scholarships: • Seniors should also be visiting the Career Center Scholarship Bin on a continuous basis for local and national scholarships. We recommend checking “The Bin” as often as 1-2 times per week. It can be found in the Career Center under the welcome sign. These scholarships are also featured under the scholarship link on the Career Center website. Feed your piggies!!

Career Center News (cont.) • Senior Exit Interviews: • Required to graduate • Parents are encouraged to attend • Needs to be scheduled prior to the end of the year • Contact your Career Advisor to schedule your Senior Interview! • Last names beginning with A-K meet with Esther Samsa: esamsa@cambridge.k12.mn.us 689-6025 • Last names beginning with L-Z meet with ThiaHogie: thia_hogie@cambridge.k12.mn.us689-6026

  5. Career Center News (cont.) • Senior Survey: • Required to graduate • Can be completed by going to: surveymonkey.com/s/LC9TR6K OR find the Survey on the Career Center’s Home Page • Needs to be submitted before the end of the school year

  6. Career Center News (cont.) • College/Military Representative Visits: • Seniors can still sign up to meet with reps—even if they’ve already made post-secondary plans. Sign up in the Career Center to meet with college reps and see a full list of schools/military branches that will be visiting soon!

  7. Career Center News (cont.) • Selective Service • All 18 year old males are required BY LAW to register for Selective Service. • Can register by going to sss.gov. • If you have questions, please visit the website above.
