  1. How to plan a Wedding? By: Catherine Driver

  2. *Picking the Date and color scheme and a time format, and possible wedding vendors *(Example: In my case my colors were aqua blue and chocolate brown; Date: September 5th 2009, time: 4p.m., and vendor was the Gone With the Wind Home) How many guests????????

  3. Invitations Etiquette makes it easy to choose gracious wording for your invitation. You also want the color to match your color scheme to give your guests a heads up on your colors Tip: An invitation that follows tradition to the letter—written in the third person, with social titles, British spellings, and with time and date spelled out—suggests a formal wedding. For a casual affair, you might follow the same basic format but instead use the first person and leave off “Mr.” and “Mrs.” Tip: If you’re having a cocktail reception or a punch-and-cake event, it’s a good idea to say so on the invitation or reception card so no one will arrive expecting a full meal Use wording such as “and afterward in the garden for cocktails” in place of the reception line. Tip: While it may seem practical to include details such as where you’re registered or that you don’t want gifts, it is never appropriate to do so on the invitation. Information like this is best conveyed by your relatives, and only when guests inquire. Tip: While an R.S.V.P. line on the invitation is classic and formal, enclosing a separate response card is an easier way to solicit a reliable head count.

  4. Begin your search on Dresses, Tuxes, and Bridesmaid dresses #1 in my book don’t have the bridal party wearing different shades of you color Can we say Tacky!!!!

  5. Also key note bride and groom should be set apart from the rest for instance in my wedding bride/groom wore ivory with gold jewelry and the bridal party wore the aqua blue with silver jewelry. Ordering from a wholesale online will save a ton of money on bridesmaid dresses but it is smarter to rent your tuxes.

  6. *Deciding on centerpieces *Cheap ways for a big wedding would be eBay; small wedding Michaels or Joanna (Every Sunday there are coupons for these stores. * While you’re doing this it would be good to purchase your bouquets or the material to make it if you are doing your own

  7. I You like it then you should put a ring on it….. * Get your ring sized in advance because it will take time to get back esp. of personalized

  8. *Hire A wedding officiate : (They range anywhere from 150-400) CL is a good place to look for any wedding services *Hire some sort of entertainment: In my case I hired a violinist for the ceremony and a dj for the reception *Don’t forget to hire a photographer!!!! (A good one might be pricey) Decide a menu and whether to hire a caterer, bartender, etc…

  9. * Purchase and pick put wedding cake and grooms cake *Create wedding programs once the line up is final *Its good to create a timeline for everyone in your wedding if you are not using a wedding director

  10. *Purchase Party favors to give to guests • The night before have everything put together so you have no worries on the wedding day • Get you hair, nails done and armpits and legs shaved ladies\ • Men get hair cuts and faces trimmed. And you are ready for the BIG DAY
