Early Beginnings • Compared goals of an architect to musician • Rhythm and balance • “Form becomes Feeling” • Opened printing press • Started with mechanical drawings of various structures • $35 a month • Architecture degree at University of Wisconsin-Madison • Architecture not popular at the time • Dropped out of college and moved to Chicago
