  3. Introductions • Head Coach – Troy Pirkle • President – Kent Wilcox • Vice President – Shad Kazerooni • Treasurer – Kim Hester • Secretary – Tara Isley

Diamond Club Mission • To provide financial support to Varsity and JV programs. • To create an atmosphere that promotes academic and athletic achievement and school pride. • To enable coaching staff to dedicate 100% of time to coaching and teaching. • To ensure that members provide support without attempting to become involved in coaching staff decisions. • To work closely with coaches and administrative staff to encourage student, parent and community attendance at AHS games.

Parent – Athlete Roles • The Athletes’ Role • Commit to academics while fulfilling their commitment to Buccaneer athletics. • Represent their team, family, and Allatoona in a positive manner at all times. • Practice good sportsmanship at all times. • Communicate with their coaches regarding any issues of team obligations or rules. • Treat their teammates and coaches with respect. • The Parents’ Role • Guide their children as these students take on tasks of time management, skill development, and responsibility. • Support the team, the coaching staff and the program at all times. • Encourage their children to communicate with the coaching staff. • Encourage their children to commit to a team and program. • GET INVOLVED!!

  7. Fees and Fundraising PLAYER COMMITMENT FEE PLAYER FUNDRAISING GOAL $500 $500 ($325 Jr Bucs) H.S. Only $1000 COMMITMENT Assuming 25 High School Players that’s a $25,000 budget.Our Goal is to exceed that amount!! H.S. - Meet your Commitment Fee and Fundraising Goal and receive 2 passes to all home games (Varsity or JV), and player receives incentive TBD

Softball Players Comittment Fee - $500 covers: • $75 Equipment use(program owns and replenishes every other year): • Uniform upkeep • Helmet • Jerseys (3 types - Old, Last year, New) • Pants • Equipment Bag • Softballs • Line up cards and score book • $125 Uniform pieces the player takes away: • Socks • Practice Shirts • Shorts • Pullover • $125 Tournament Fees (Buc Bash + Carrolton) • $80 Player Meals (After School) Occurs about 20 times • $70 Events (plus Buc Mom’s) • Pink Out Cancer awareness shirt • Senior Night celebration • Ice Cream Social • Awards Night • $25 Wet Weather Indoor Batting cage rental

Softball Players $500 Fundraising/Sponsorships Cover: • Field Upkeep – Provide a quality facility to play on. • Caulk • Paint • Replacement hand tools • Field dressing • Mound Clay • Grass mowing – Fertilizer • Repairs and maintenance in and around facility • Fencing, netting, dugouts, fence fabric, Score Board etc… • Improvement projects • New player uniforms • Jerseys / Pants / Helmets • Coaches Equipment • 5 – Coach uniforms • Practice balls • Misc. Practice Equipment • Bus Travel that School does not cover • Driver- Gas • Pre-pays • Concessions Inventory • Spirit Wear Samples • State Tournament (3-days) • Player meals • Coolers and drinks • Perks – Get into home games free (2 tickets) once paid in full

  10. School collects gate fees: • Hope it covers all of the umpire fees • Helps in paying for the Hotel at the State Tournament • Provide Trainer • Provide Gate personnel to collect gate fee • Pays for the lights • Bus travel

What happens when we don’t get your player fee or sponsorship $: • The person sitting next to you may have paid for you. • The person sitting next to you may have had to volunteer their time. • The person next to you may have picked up an additional sponsorship. • The person next to you may have made donations to cover your portion. • The person next to you may have done the repairs or maintenance for the program. • The person next to you may have donated player meals. • The person next to you may have provided inventory or food to the concessions to sell. • To keep the facility the way it looks and to a high standard we are lucky we have a dedicated volunteer, Steve Kemp, that prides himself in taking care of the field months before any of these girls play on it. Since he keeps it in this condition we are able to rent it out to teams to cover some sponsorship downfalls and to make improvements. • We provide this information to show that your money does go to the girls and into the program facility. We are proud of it and want it to continue to get better. To do this, it is the combined effort of our parents booster club to provide this for the girls and get player fees and sponsorship payments made before the season starts.

Sign and Plaque Sponsorships2014 • SPONSOR BOARD PLAQUE 1’ x 2’ $150 • Sponsor name/logo on board posted on the dugout wall plus website ad for 1 year • 4x4 FENCE SIGN $350 • Sign will remain on fence for one calendar year plus website ad • 4x6 FENCE SIGN $500 • Sign will remain on fence and board for one calendar year plus website ad ($125 renewal) ($300 renewal) ($400 renewal) Other options such as providing Goods and/or Services are also great ways to help the program. Web Site recognition will be given to any vendor/sponsor providing more than $100 in goods or services.
