FY 2002 ACHIEVEMENTS 1.New Program Design in Admissions Department 2.Updated and Completed Electronic/Paper Manual for all Policy and Procedures for Facility • 3.Implemented Clinical DBT Training • 4.Implemented PPC-IIR Training & Forms (i.e., ASAM PPC-IIR Patient Placement Criteria for Levell III Care & Biopsychosocial Assessement Forms) • 5.Developed Comprehensive Staff and Patient Orientation Procedure • 6.Developed Electronic Chart Review Process • 7.Developed following Committees to Improve Services - Pharmacy and Therapeutic Committee; Performance Improvement Committee; Discharge Committee; Grievance Committee; Chart Audit Committee; Ethics Committee

STATISTIC OVERVIEW • Serve 800-1000 Patients Per Year • Approximately 65% are men and 35% are women • Average age is 30 for men and 26 for women • 78% of patients are Caucasian, 19 % are Native American, 3% are African American, Hispanic, and Asian • Approximately 30% are intravenous (IV) drug users • Approximately 37% are methamphetamine users • Approximately 36% of women are women with dependent children • 49% of patients have some level of legal involvement • 85% of patients are unemployed • Rate of Completion is % for women and % for men • Co-Existing disordered patients constitute approximately 51% of our population
Utilization Review • Utilization Team Consists of Admissions, Clinical, Mental Health, & Nursing Staff • Must Meet Level III.5 or III.7 Criteria • Notification Procedures - Approval, Pending, Denial Notifications Sent to Referring Programs • Procedure for Canceling Admission Date - Referring Program, Probation Officer, or Judge Must Cancel Admission Dates • Earlier Admission Dates Available Upon Cancellation/no Shows • Length of Stay for Program - Varies From 28-45 Days
