Cutting Lists. Start by choosing a name for each part. End. Handle. Tool holder. Side. Base. Any names will do. Cutting List. Now draw out you cutting list table and add the part names. Cutting List. Next fill in the materials column. Cutting List. Now fill in the No Off column.

  2. Start by choosing a name for each part

  3. End Handle Tool holder Side Base Any names will do

  4. Cutting List Now draw out you cutting list table and add the part names

  5. Cutting List Next fill in the materials column

  6. Cutting List Now fill in the No Off column

  7. Cutting List Finally add the length, width and thickness of each part.

  8. Handle Remember to add about 30mm extra to the length of wood required for the handle. This will take account of the Vee groove you will have to cut in one end to support the wood in the forked centre. You also need to add a little to the diameter to take account of machining losses.   9. Cutting List Finally add the size of the tool holder To do this you have to remember to flatten out the sheet first

  10. Tool Holder Add the size of aluminium required to the cutting list
