Autumn. Things We See In The Autumn. Fruit ripe on the trees. Colourful berries. Food for the birds and other small animals. Seeds blowing in the wind. Crops are being harvested. Fields are being ploughed. Leaves are turning brown.

Autumn Things We See In The Autumn
An Autumn poem by Elsie N Brady How silently they tumble downAnd come to rest upon the groundTo lay a carpet, rich and rare,Beneath the trees without a care,Content to sleep, their work well done,Colours gleaming in the sun. At other times, they wildly flyUntil they nearly reach the sky.Twisting, turning through the airTill all the trees stand stark and bare.Exhausted, drop to earth belowTo wait, like children, for the snow.
