Of these donors: 530 (4%) emails bounced 902 (17%) opened the email 503 (10%) clicked through to the survey 329 (6%) completed the survey The 329 includes a number of paper surveys requested by donors. This represents, by far, the highest level of participation in recent years. This was made possible due to the continued collection, and updating of donor email addresses. Thank you

  3. The Survey The survey consisted of 14 questions including multiple choice, rating scale and open ended questions. There were opportunities for comment and for Other on 6 questions. “Always and every time; very strongly agree.” “They were awesome, it was my first time and they were very comforting. I got light headed and they made sure to get me feeling better very quickly. And about a week letter I got a card that was very sweet.”

  4. The Survey We received input that was useful; “Be open later in the evening sometimes. I work until 5:30 and would consider donating after work.” “hot beverages on cold days. Tea would be great.” “Healthier snack options for post-donation.” And some, not so much; “I wish the interview process didn't take so long. I understand how important it is, but it is the worst part of the process for me.” “Allow me to donate more often and/or more blood in one go.” “Have a string quartet playing in the corner.”
