USE OF THERE. THERE is used while naming a place ,a thing ,or the existence of something. THERE IS/ARE used to indicate the fact or existence of something:. THERE IS (SINGULAR). (E.G). There is a black cat. There is a boy behind the tree. There is a student in the classroom.

  2. THERE is used while naming a place ,a thing ,or the existence of something. THERE IS/AREused to indicate the fact or existence of something:

  3. THERE IS (SINGULAR) (E.G) There is a black cat. There is a boy behind the tree. There is a student in the classroom. NOTE:TEACH THE CHILD THE SINGULAR USAGE OF “THERE” WITH PICTURES ABOVE.

  4. THERE ARE(PLURAL) There are three football players. There are two people and two dogs. There are two little girls playing with blocks. NOTE:TEACH THE CHILD THE PLURAL USAGE OF “THERE” WITH PICTURES ABOVE.

  5. NOTE:TEACH THE CHILD THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SINGULAR AND PLURAL OF “THERE”

  6. EXAMPLES FOR SINGULAR There wasa lightning storm last night. There wasalso a lot of food there. (In this sentence, "there" is used with the noncount noun, "food.") There wasn'tany furniture in the apartment. It was almost empty. NOTE:TEACH THE CHILD THE SINGULAR USAGE OF “THERE”.
