  7. Objective 1 • Recommend principles to guide development of global measures of disability, for use in a census format. Measures should be culturally compatible and provide the basis necessary information on disability throughout the world. Washington City Group on Disability Statistics

Objective 2 • Recommend one or more extended sets of survey items to measure disability or principles for their design, to be used as components in population surveys or as supplements to specialty surveys.
