  2. Human Achievement? • Result that human beings accomplish for their lives and that is an important for human beings because everyone has their own goals and ideas that they want to achieve.

  3. Does It Always Have Positive Results? • No, it usually has both bad and positive results. • For example, Christopher Columbus was praised for discovering land of North America. • But, he was also condemned for killing the innocent Indians.

  4. Why? • First, the achievement itself has duplicity. • Second, each people has different perspectives. • Therefore, those who have different perspectives look in a different way at human achievement, which has duplicity also.

  5. Example : Columbus’ Achievement • Christopher Columbus born in 1451. • Columbus was an Italian explorer. • Columbus planned to sail to India but, landed on a different land and discovered the North America. • Columbus developed the North America and brought Europeans to the land to live.

  6. How Columbus Was Successful? • Columbus was able to conquer the Indians and the land. • Columbus developed the land that now developed as one of the powerful nation in the world.

  7. Factors That Led To Columbus’ Achievement • Columbus had a goal of exploring a new land. • Columbus was oppressed by Spain government to payback for subsidy. • The Indians were friendly to strangers.

  8. My Definition Of Human Achievement • No matter what is bad or good, set a goal to yourself. When you achieve the goal, I say that is an human achievement. • The achievement also influence the other people.
