  2. TÜBİTAK TÜBITAK is both a research performing organization and a research funding organization. TÜBITAK Marmara Research Center is home to the Environment Institute.

  3. TUBITAK and International Cooperation • TUBITAK has established the National Coordination Office for the EU Framework Programmes. • TUBITAK is also responsible for international scientific cooperation, i.e. COST, EUREKA, EMBO

  4. TÜBITAK AS AN RFO • TUBITAK supports national academic research through its Academic Research Programmes Directorate (ARDEB). • Technology and Innovation Funding Programmes Directorate (TEYDEB) provides funding to business/industry. • National funding is also provided to establish international cooperation

  5. Programme 1301 Initiative to Build Scientific and Technological Cooperation Networks and Platforms - Bilimsel ve Teknolojik İşbirliği Ağları ve Platformları Kurma Girişimi (İŞBAP) Projeleri • Industrial and business corporations, universities, public corporations and consortiums can apply. • No deadline for application. • Support amount is  max. 250.000TL /year for max. 36 months – matching fund.
