Es muy importante obedecer al evangelio: Oír, creer, arrepentirse, confesar a Cristo, ser bautizado. • Introduction. A. It is very important obey the gospel: Hear, believe, repent, confess Christ, be baptized.

  3. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • B. Pero también Jesús dice, “Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida”, Apoc. 2:10. • B. But also Jesus says, “Be faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life.” Rev. 2:10.

He does not abandon the race because of fatigue or discouragement. “We do not faint.”

Rom. 12:12, es sufrido en la tribulación: aflicciones, condiciones penosas, contra-tiempos, dificultades, sufrimientos, etc. • B. Recordemos que “la tribulación produce perseverancia” y aun gozo, Rom. 5:3. • Such tribulations should not cause discouragement. Remember that “tribulation produces perseverance” and even joy, Rom. 5:3.

A veces las pruebas son pesadas, pero hay millones que con todo gusto cambiarían lugar con la mayoría de nosotros. • D. At times trials are hard, but there are millions that with all joy would trade places with the majority of us.

La tribulación que el cristiano sufra es MUY ligera comparada con la tribulación de los perdidos que van al infierno para ser atribulados para siempre. • E. The tribulation that the Christian suffers is VERY light compared with the tribulation of the lost that go to hell to be tormented forever.

No es como la semilla que cayó entre espinos, Luc. 8:14. “Son ahogados por las preocupaciones, las riquezas y los placeres de la vida, y su fruto no madura”. • V. He is not like the seed that fell among thorns, Lk. 8:14. These “are choked with cares, riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to maturity.”

Rechaza ropa deshonesta, bebida social, desnudez, sexo ilícito, violencia, lenguaje pesado, todas las obras de la carne, (Gál. 5:19-21) del cine, TV, videos, Internet. • A. Rejects indecent clothing, social drinking, nudity, illicit sex, violence, filthy language, all the works of the flesh, (Gal. 5:19-21) of movies and TV, videos, Internet.

Does not yearn for the world, for he knows that what he left in the world is “trash,” garbage, (Phil. 3:8).

Es de corazón bueno y recto, ama la iglesia, ama el estudio bíblico, el cantar himnos, estar con otros cristianos en actividades sanas. Lleva mucho fruto, v. 15. • C. He has good and honest heart, loves the church, loves Bible study, sing hymns, be with other Christians in wholesome activi-ties. Bears much fruit, v. 15.

Millones de los que profesan ser cristianos no lo hacen. • VI. Persevere en what? A. In doctrine (teaching) of the apostles, Acts 2:42. Millions who profess to be Christians do not do it.

Substituyen la doctrina y la iglesia de Cristo con sus propias preferencias, lo que les gusta… y dicen que es bíblico, que es del Espíritu Santo... Pero obviamente es de ellos. • They don’t like it. Doesn’t suit them. They substitute their own preferences for the doctrine and church of Christ, what they like … and they say it is Biblical, from the Holy Spirit… But obviously it is from them.

  34. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • Es increíble que tanta gente muy inteligente, gente letrada y docta, rechacen la enseñanza de Cristo y los apóstoles... Como si no hubiera Nuevo Testamento que seguir. • It is unbelievable that so many very intelli-gent people, educated y learned, reject the teaching of Christ and the apostles... As if there were no New Testament to follow.

  35. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • 2 Tim. 1:13, “Retén la forma (patrón) de las palabras sanas que has oído de mí”. Sobre el evangelio, la iglesia, el culto, el gobierno de la iglesia, la obra de la iglesia, etc. • 2 Tim. 1:13, “Retain the standard (pattern) of sound words that you heard from me.” Con-cerning the gospel, church, worship, government of the church, work of the church, etc.

  36. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • Muchos hermanos aceptan el sistema liberal (centralización, instituciones, evangelio social); error sobre divorcio y segundas nupcias; Deidad de Cristo; la Creación. • Many brethren accept the liberal system (centralization, institutions, social gospel); error regarding divorce and remarriage, Deity of Christ, the Creation.

  37. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • En fin, “el que persevere…” es “el que presta atención a la perfecta ley de la libertad y que persevera en ella”, Sant. 1:25. • Finally, “the one who endures…” is the one “who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it.,” James 1:25

Persevera “en bien hacer”, Rom. 2:7. “No nos cansemos, pues, de hacer el bien; porque a su tiempo cosecharemos, si no desmayamos”, Gál. 6:9. • B. Perseveres “in doing good,” Rom. 2:7. “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart,” Gal. 6:9.

  39. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • Tito 2:14, es celoso de buenas obras; 3:1, dispuestos a toda buena obra; 3:8, 14 se ocupa de continuo y abunda en buenas obras. • Titus 2:14, is zealous of good works; 3:1, ready unto every good work; 3:8, 14, be occupied continually and abound in good works.

  40. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • Sant. 2:26, sabe que la fe sin obras está muerta. Por eso, hace buenas obras para perfeccionar su fe, v. 22. • James 2:26, he knows that faith without works is dead. Therefore, he does good works to perfect his faith, v. 22.

  41. “El que persevere hasta el fin será salvo” “He that endures to the end shall be saved” • C. Persevera en la oración. Luc. 18:1, orar siempre y no desmayar; 1 Tes. 5:17, orad sin cesar; Hech. 6:4, continuaremos en la oración y en el ministerio de la palabra. • C. Perseveres in prayer. Lk. 18:1, pray always and not faint; 1 Thess. 5:17, pray without ceasing; Acts 6:4, we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word.

En fin, persevera en la gracia de Dios, Hech. 13:43, “les hablaban y les persuadían a perseverar fieles en la gracia de Dios”. • D. Finally, persevere in the grace of God, Acts 13:43, “speaking to them and persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.”

Inútil. • VII. He that does not persevere: A. Is like “broken cisterns that can hold no water” (Jer. 2:13). Useless.

Y las recogen y las echan en el fuego, y son quemadas”, Juan 15:6. • B. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned,” John 15:6.

Luc. 9:62, “Nadie, que después de poner la mano en el arado mira atrás, es apto para el reino de Dios”. Debe tener los ojos “puestos en Jesús”. • Conclusion. A. Lk. 9:62, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.“ Should keep his eyes “fixed on Jesus.”

Where would we be?
