  3. The normal working hours for employees is 8 hours per day and 40 hours a week. The law specifies that the employee has the right to work up to 10 hours per day and 48 hours per week maximum. The working hours

  4. Number of days off Maternity→ 8 weeks before birth (prenatal leave) and 8 weeks after birth (postnatal leave) Parental leave→ 6 months if it’s a full-time leave, granted as well to the mother than the father Annual paid leave 25 days Other days off exist but are not specified in this folder

  6. Payment of “normal” overtime hours : + 40% → Total 140% • Payment of hours worked on sundays : + 70% → Total 170% • Payment of hours worked on legal public holidays : + 100% → Total 200% Payment of overtime hours
