  1. * Peaceful music. Mood is like a quiet afternoon .”!” appears on the word “thought”. * Thought bubble crosses screen ! ! Once there was a thought - - just a little passing thought. * Bubbly sound effect. * Thought grows and shrinks. It wasn’t a particularly deep thought… And it wasn’t a particularly big thought, either.

  2. * Zoom in slightly. Explosion sound effect on the word “flashy”. * Far shot. Chimes sound effect on the word “fancy”. It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t flashy. * Outer space sounds. Thought is “floating”. * Magical sound effect. It wasn’t out of this world… And it wasn’t necessarily grounded in reality.

  3. * Back to original shot. * Zoom in. It was almost as if it was a little spark, an inkling - A little figment of the imagination…. * Long shot. * Fanfare “Ta-dah!” music as Idea shakes and grows. And, isn’t that how all things start out? With just a little thought?

  4. * Thought bubble shakes as if in anticipation. * Original shot (or change scene?). ! ! But, this thought wanted to become more. It wanted to become… * Grows huge. * Original shot. ! ! And, in order to have a thought become an idea, …an idea!

  5. * Bubble zips around screen as if in panic. * Same shot. …? ! It needed to have a plan. Because without a plan, a thought can become scattered, lost… . * Back to original shot. * Like a secret. {…} …or even forgotten. That’s where storyboarding comes in.

  6. * Long shot. * Music builds. ! A story board is like a map. It helps keep thoughts organized, gives them direction, * Pan right. Hold still. * Long shot, bubble shakes with pride. {…} ! With storyboards, a little thought can become a BIG IDEA! And prevents them from getting lost or forgotten.
