  9. THE DESTROYER OF CONFIDENCE

  10. MATTHEW 6:30, 8:26, 14:31, 16:8, 17:20

  11. 25"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?"

  12. 26"Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" 27 "Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?"

  13. 28 "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;" 29 "And yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

  14. 30"Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more cloth you, O YOU OF LITTLE FAITH?"

  15. WE CAN INCREASE OUR CONFIDENCE By looking at the birds and flowers.

  16. IT IS NOT OUR LACK OF MATERIAL POSSESSIONS BUT OUR LACK OF CONFIDENCE IN CHRIST.

  17. YOURSELF TO TRUST IN THE LORD

  18. YOURSELF You must determine to trust in God's Word that He will never stop loving you.

  19. Sin and disobedience have no bearing on our secure relationship with God.

  20. A confessing Christian is a confident Christian.

  21. An obedient Christian is a confident Christian

  22. A believing Christian is a confident Christian

  23. A disciplined Christian is a confident Christian

  24. A determined Christian is a confident Christian
