  1. H o w w e t r e a t o u r E n v i r o n m e n t m a y i m p a c t o n t h e L i f e o f F u t u r e G e n e r a t i o n s It is fact that how we treat the earth and our environment may indeed come back to haunt us. There is every indication that in order to save the earth for future generations it is important to look after it. One way of doing so is to make use, wherever possible, of remediation services to ensure that we do not deplete the natural resources that we have around us. Environmental remediation, or remediation of resources, is the process whereby impurities are removed from our natural resources – i.e. soil, water, and even manmade products such as road and air strip surfaces, among many – to ensure they are protected and can be used, or used again. This, in the long run, contributes to the ideals of creating and sustaining a healthier environment for all. Remediation services are typically provided by specialists with the necessary training and experience in this field. They are often professionals such as scientists, engineers, technicians and their support staff. These remediation servicesoffer their expertise to various companies and concerns that can benefit from having important processes carried out in their work environment. Their services are aimed at keeping the environment clean and sustainable - and also healthy for all life forms, whether for humans in the area, or the natural flora and fauna. These processes could take on many forms. Often these services or companies work for, or in conjunction with, government services such as local councils in order to ensure the environment is not at risk of negative influences such as radiation, which is a real danger in areas where remediation servicesare not carried out.

  2. These negative scenarios are always possible when the environment is not considered and contaminants not removed from water, soil, sludge and also solid materials where there is a danger that they can cause harm to the environment and life and living organisms. These conditions often prevail where production takes place, such as at factories, in agriculture, the building industry and relevant industries where work to build structures or produce food and goods is undertaken. Often by-products are created during these processes, and these contain impurities and contaminants which have to be removed or treated in order to keep the rest of the area clean and free from harm. Remediation services are well placed to deal with these issues on a big scale and they have the trained personnel and equipment to ensure the area is free from harm and that unused material is treated to be useful as renewable, sustainable materials and products once more. These specialists will, when called in, ascertain how the process should be carried out, what equipment should be used, and they will ensure that all areas are treated according to the laws of the country – or according to the by-laws of the local authorities, whichever applies. Because they do this all the time, they are clued up about the requirements and necessary processes. Good remediation services employ the kind of professionals that know how to isolate the contaminants by first carrying out tests wherever necessary, and testing samples, to establish exactly what the requirements are for the work to be done. They are well trained to work with clients and companies from, especially, the building sector to ensure that they come up with good, environmentally friendly materials for use by the building – and other – industries afterwards. Examples include contaminated areas and materials such as old concrete, no-longer-in- use buildings and other surfaces that provide the basis for construction materials. When companies call in the help of remediation services with a good track record they can be assured of a service that understands all the important processes such as solidification and stabilisation of the materials that form the basis for the remediation.

  3. They have the experience to follow a process that requires knowledge, proper planning and immaculate thought processes to ensure that they are able to ascertain the needs of the client, that they establish the way going forward and that they come up with great recycled products that the client will be able to either sell or use again in upcoming projects. At OCL Regeneration we create recycled materials for use by the building industry throughout England. Our recycled products are high quality and environmentally sustainable. Our clients include builders, structural and civil engineers, utility providers and contractors, the waste and landfill sector, road construction and surfacing contractors and those professionals who work in the field of land remediation. We use modern, innovative material recycling techniques to provide the building industry with the best materials in terms of quality and environmentally friendly practices. The modern builders we supply to, use these sustainable products to help avoid resource depletion and to help safeguard the environment against harmful practices.
