INTRODUCTION The Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission conducts the TNPSC Group-IV exam annually to select candidates for positions such as Junior Assistant, Bill Collector, Typist, Village Administrative Officer (VAO), and Steno-Typist Posts. I. Steps/Stages in the Selection Process of TNPSC Group-IV: ·The Group IV examination consists of only one written test in which candidates must score a minimum of (90/300) marks. It’s a multiple-choice questions format. ·After passing the written exams, the authorities will call candidates for document verification and a personal interview. Important Documents needed for the application: ·SSLC/HSC Certificate (Date of Birth Verification), ·Priority Selection for Tamil Medium (PSTM) Certificate(who studied in Tamil Medium), ·Disability Certificate(For PH candidates), ·No Objection Certificate, ·Additional Supporting Documents for Reservation, ·Educational Certificates (as specified in the application), ·I need to obtain a community certificate for the TNPSC Group-IV exam, ·Typewriting/Shorthand Certificate.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR VERIFICATION • Educational Qualification Certificates: Your SSLC (10th) certificate, your higher secondary (12th) certificate, and your graduation certificate for Age proof. • Community Certificate: To specify your community as (SC, ST, OBC, & others). • Nativity Certificate (if necessary): If you claim to be a Tamil Nadu resident, submit a nativity certificate. • Differently Abled Certificate (For physically handicapped candidates): If you have a disability, include a certificate to ensure it. • No Objection Certificate (NOC): If you have a current job, get an NOC from your employer. • Photo ID Proof: Show a valid photo ID like an Aadhar card, voter ID, passport, or driver’s license. • Passport-size Photographs: Attach recent photos (colour) as instructed. • Payment Receipt: As proof of application fee payment. • Self-Declaration Form: Complete a form saying you don’t have any criminal history and disciplinary actions. • Other Supporting Documents: These are mentioned in the official notice, like experience certificates (if needed). • Two copies of the conduct certificate are to be submitted.
