  3. Plot When a rogue knight named Karen poisons the Castle Macindaw’s lord and his son, Orman and Will flee the castle to find Malcolm to heal Orman. Meanwhile, Karen plans to turn over the castle to the Scotti for a very large sum of gold. When a group of Skandians crash into the shore, Will enlists their help. Then Will’s long time friend on orders comes to help him.

  4. Plot (Cont.) Alyss’s cover is blown, she is captured and put into a tower cell. Later Will learns from Alyss that a Scotti band of soldiers led by a general named MacHadish will negotiate the surrender of the castle over to the Scotti. Afterwards Will and Horace hatch a plan to capture the Scotti with the Skandian’s help.

  5. Plot (Cont.) When the Scotti leave the castle Will, Horace and the Skandians are lying in wait. As the Scotti come by Will and the rest of his party spring out. MacHadish charges across the fray of battle at Will with a two handed broadsword. Then Will, being a expert archer thanks to his Ranger training, sends an arrow flying in to MacHadish’s wrist. After they finish off the rest of the Scotti.

  6. Plot (Cont) Will then turns his attention to MacHadish but before he can capture him he dashes in to the forest. If you want to know more read the book.
