  1. Traversing the New Silk Road

  2. Securing Messages Across the Internet SMEs require a messaging product which will provide a foundation to enhance their Business to Business (B2B) experience.

  3. eBusiness transactions must satisfy 5 conditions • Authentication- is the user who he she says they are. • Authorisation-is the user authorised to access the information. • Confidentiality- can the user be guaranteed that whatever he or she does to the information is done in confidence. • Integrity-can we guarantee that no unathorised changes are made to the information. • Non Repudiation-The sender and receiver can be contractually bound by the transaction and cannot refute the transaction.

  4. eBusiness transactions must satisfy 5 conditions Without all of these conditions, undertaking eBusiness would not be possible. The issue of Non repudiation in particular is Paramount to business A entering into a transaction with business B

  6. ebMS The ebMS products are based on ISO standard 15000-2. The ebMS approach provides a comprehensive system of exchanging documents and managing business processes using XML based messaging securely via the Internet. It also supports the use of binary file exchanges, sophisticated routing, delivery and error recovery mechanisms. Severs supporting ebMS therefore exploit state-of-the art XML and Internet communications techniques along with firewall and IP addressing and ports to control delivery and services.

  7. B2BFusion We consider B2BFusion as a transport business. Specifically we are an information transporter. Analogously, we are the new “truckies” of the electronic superhighway. Our B2Me-Messenger product transports electronic messages from one location to another.   As a transporter we are concerned with making sure the Sender and Receiver are who they say they are (Authentication), the Sender and Receiver have a contract to undertake the transaction (Authorisation), the goods (in this case the message) gets to the required destination securely (Confidentiality) , the message is “untarnished” when it gets there (Integrity) and is acknowledged by the Receiver (Non Repudiation). Cont….

  8. B2BFusion As such we are not concerned with the content as with its delivery. The B2Me –Messenger has been designed to provide an extensible application that allows business to send any type of communication easily, cheaply, and reliably satisfying all the conditions of an eBusiness transaction. It has been developed specifically for the SME market and based on the ebXML framework specifically ISO 15000-2 and will transport any electronic message format including : XBRL XML HL7
