Many photographers pursue formal training through undergraduate programs. This is especially true for those in specialties such as industrial photography, photojournalism or scientific photography. Even photographers specializing in freelance and portait photography often gain technical expertise through college degree programs. • Statistics/interesting information • The most expensive camera ever sold was a rare 1923 Leica camera, which went for $2.8 million at auction in Vienna. • The largest collection of cameras in the world is held by Dilish Parekh of Mumbai, India.
