Budget Reporting Online! • Gift Assistance Budget Reporting for 2014-15 via GAP Access • Anticipated Availability - Early-Mid April 2014 • Same data items collected as before • Must be submitted by GAP Access Primary Administrator (FA Director)

ISAC Programs Update: Oh, the Stuff You Will Learn! FROM MAP AND GAP ACCESS NOW QUICKLY WE’LL GO, TO NATIONAL GUARD, A NEW ROSTER TO SHOW.
Illinois National Guard (ING) • Qualified applicants who have completed ten years or more of active duty ING service may receive ING Grant benefits for a maximum of the equivalent of six academic years of full-time enrollment (i.e., 180 eligibility units). • Handled Manually in 2013-14 • Modified Announcement Roster for • 2014-15.

Calendar Items • PFC Winter/Spring Claims Due April 11, 2014 • ING Spring Term Claims Due April 16, 2014 • Supplemental – April 30, 2014 • IVG Spring Term Claims Due May 25, 2014 • Past Due • MyZone User Verification Response • TESP Enrollment Verification
Report Maintenance for MAP • Review Reports and File Extraction Tabs • Especially prior year info (2012-13) • Identify Files to Keep (Save to another location) • Save the Payment Results/Exceptions files (.PDF) • Delete Files No Longer Needed • It may not be necessary to keep all user created reports and extractions.
FTP Processing Reminders • Make Sure Files are Encrypted with Password • Make Sure The Password is Correct • Make Sure the Zipped File is Submitted, not the Text File • If Unsure, use the MAP/TEST folder • Call ISAC to let us know the file is in TEST folder • Don’t Put Test Data in the MAP/IN folder • Unintended consequences
FTP Naming Conventions • Example: mappayreq_999_010114.txt • Password encrypt this file • Example: mappayreq_999_010114.zip • Submit this file • Go to Electronic Tools to find the 2014-15 MAP 160-Byte File Layout Specifications
Reconciliation Reminders • Year-end processing coming up. Be sure to run and save appropriate reports. • Reconciliation is on a student-by- student basis, not just dollars paid minus dollars disbursed. • After reconciliation, send in your payment reductions and cancellations via MAP as soon as possible.
