Candidates also need to complete an essay on their past working experiences and submit it for evaluation. Those who successfully pass these requirements can become eligible for a primary school teacher's post. Every graduating preschool teacher should have a strong understanding of the subjects covered during her training course. During training, trainees usually cover history, geography, and current events as well as problem-based teaching (PBT) methods. They also learn how to run educational games, sing songs, and play educational board games with their students. Training also includes learning how to deal with behavioral problems and teaching mentally challenged students. The practical sessions usually last for twelve weeks but may take longer if there are problem trainees in the class. After completing the training course, graduates take an advanced examination before obtaining their Diploma in Childhood Education.
