  2. What is Basix Report ? BASIX also known as the Building Sustainability Index was created in 2004 by the New South Wales Government as a portion of an initiative to ensure that residential developments were sustainable. BASIX reports were created to meet a target of about 25% reductions in greenhouse gases and 40% in water consumption.

  3. What is the purpose of a Basix report? The BASIX® tool is used to calculate the house or unit's energy and water scores based on a range of data, including size, location and design features. How are the targets in a BASIX report measured? The has a benchmark for energy and water and they are equally measured on the basis of per capita. BASIX report

  6. What targets are in a BASIX report? There are three basic goals involved in the introduction of BASIX Certificate Programme: A 40% reduction in water consumption A 40% reduction in greenhouse gases A 40% reduction in required energy for thermal comfort
