  • Based on analyses conducted during previous planning steps, form interim conclusions as to whether to move ahead with the planning process.

    • If the level of risk is acceptable, the community may decide not to

  • pursue mitigation activities

    • If the level of risk is not acceptable, the community may decide to

    • formulate a mitigation program

Call a Public Meeting

  • At this point in the planning process, it is prudent to call a public

  • meeting

  • At this forum, the planning team can get input and comment from

  • the community concerning mitigation priorities.

  • FEMA requires documentation of public involvement efforts made

  • during the planning process
