  2. Call to adventure • For my call to adventure my hero will break her wing and must learn to fly again if she wants to survive.

  3. Heros/Companions and other possible characters • Bakana- Hero’s bestfriend- name means lookout • Dainan- an old bird who is known for risking his life to save many lorikeets– name means kind hearted • Athan- ancient legend or hero of the dark days- name means immortal

  4. Hero’s companions Cont. • Burilda an evil brown falcon- name means BLACK swan • Satine- older sister of my hero- name means the beautiful one • Troppo-an insane king- name means crazy

  5. Crossing the threshold • For my crossing the threshold my main character’s mother will die sacrificing herself in an ambush of Brown Falcons.

  6. Tests • My hero learns how to fly again • My hero and company must figure out an ancient riddle to get past Troppo’s tree.

  7. Helpers • Dux is the second in charge of Burilda’s minions but he wishes to not be enslaved to her. At birth he was stolen from his nest by a Diamond snake but Burilda saved him and forced him to work for her. • Dux- name means very smart or nerdy

  8. Climax • My hero’s bestfriend (Bakana)since birth dies risking her life when Burilda’s minions ambush them

  9. Flight/Return • Burilda is exposed for her trickery and Evil plan

  10. Boon • My boon will be insured safety to her birds any all the others that may be hunted by brown falcons

  11. Apotheosis • My hero will become the first female bird to ever become head of the bird council

  12. overall • My hero’s main purpose on her quest is to clear the name of lorikeets to other birds so they will help them defeat Burilda and the rest of her evil brown falcons before they her home again. • Lorikeets are known for their agression and how they can be very territorial. • Also Burilda has tricked most of the other native australian birds into thinking that lorikeets are evil. • My chracter wants to finally be independent and stop having others sacrfice stuff for her. For all her life she has never had the ability to defend herself in tough situations.
