  2. Directions for the Assignment • Choose 5 organisms that you viewed on the Life Video series from any 2 kingdom Animalia categories • Create 5 biographical slides that feature each organism. Each slide must contain the following information: • Organism name and picture • Phylum or class that they belong to • A short paragraph where you type in 1st person format (the organism) describing a survival adaptation that you have (as the organism), how it helps you (the organism survive), and the life process that it helps you with.

  3. Sunflower- Plantae Kingdon • Hi! You have probably seen me around on hot summer days admiring my beauty. My phylum name is Magnoliophyta, but you know me as a sunflower. The key to my survival is searching and reaching to the light, by stretching and bending. I can grow up to 15 feet if needed to get the maximum amount of sun for proper nutrition. Hey, my stems also have opposite facing leaves that are broad which allow for maximum absorbing of the sun. Did you know that my flower actually rotates in response to the rising and setting of the sun…wow. I guess you can call me a sun worshipper!
