  3. WHAT IS CHARGE PASSING • Charges that pass to your Practice Management program (Misys Vision®, Misys PM™ and Misys Tiger®) from clinical actions in Misys EMR

  4. EMR SYSTEM SET UP • Refer to Misys EMR Quick Guides • System Parameters • ACDIAGNOSE: A diagnosis is always required to send charges via EMR. • IMMCHRG: Controls the default of the Create Charge checkbox for immunizations. • NOTECHRG: Controls the default of the Create Charge checkbox for chart note save. • PATCASE: Set to no for Autotrans, as Case does not apply in a Misys PM/ Misys Tiger environment. • PMSYSTEM: As stated above, set to MEDTIGER. • PROCCHRG:Controls the default of the Create Charge checkbox for procedures.

  5. EMR SYSTEM SET UP CONT… • User Security • Activity or on Role 4020 – AC Charges • Set billing provider code • View Chargesbox • E/M Override box • Ancillary Fees in Orders Management • CPT on each Test

  6. TIGER SET UP • User Security • Add Interface Group to Role or person • Add Charge Capabilities to Role or person • Interfaces • Autotrans • CPT or Procedures • Set up CPT codes and billing • Explosion codes (if using)

  7. CREATE CHARGES FROM • Procedures • Immunizations • Chart Note Entry • Orders Management

  17. ACCEPT CHARGES IN TIGER CONT… • Accept Charges & Repeat until all charges are accepted.

  18. COMPLETING CHARGES • Pull up ticket numbers and make adjustments (if any needed) or finish charges normally.
