    2. Our History Established in 1982, trade very profitably. 200 Municipal waste water references (0.5 to 120MGD) 9 EPA validated drinking water references (1 to 80MGD) 1000 industrial installations in USA Closed vessel, in pipe offers. No open channel systems.

    3. DNA and UV The UV disinfection process is a physical process which breaks down the DNA strands, preventing reproduction. Medium pressure goes a step further than low pressure systems by actually penetrating the cell wall and eliminating the ability for the cells to photo-reactivate. At 265 nm (the peak of the germicidal curve), the DNA is disrupted. The bacteria is unable to reproduce and the colonies die off. The bacterial colonies become extinct as the ability to reproduce is lost. The UV disinfection process is a physical process which breaks down the DNA strands, preventing reproduction. 4. Photoreactivation The result of UV wavelengths creates dimers in the DNA strand (knot in Thymine). The dimers cause the microorganism to stop the replication process. Therefore, as long as dimers are present in the DNA no further multiplication can take place. Most microorganisms react immediately to damages inside the DNA. Enzymes are activated to repair the DNA to its original state (most effective in the process of visible light). After sometime the replication process could begin again. 10. Costs LP will generally have lower electrical costs BUT it is important to look at ALL costs
