COURSE SUMMARY • Nine sessions prepared especially for 8th through 12th grade students with a keen interest in pursuing an Engineering career • Overview of the Noble Profession & its Requirements • Civil & Structural Engineering • Steps of the Scientific Method • Launch Learning – United States Launch Vehicles • Human Spaceflight and Astronaut Requirements • Orbital Mechanics and earth Coordinates • Space Exploration • Planetary & Lunar Spacecraft and Missions • Satellites in a Nutshell • Schedule • Saturdays – September 8, 2012 through November 3, 2012 • 10:00 am to 12:00 noon each day • Locations • Aurora Public Schools Professional Learning Conference Center (PLCC) • Wings Over the Rockies Museum on September 15, 2012
