  1. Valdosta State Bound My first time away form home, was very difficult. This was the only time I was away without any friends or family with me. • I was kind of nervous about how things would play out.

  3. Becoming a BLAZER I was given than offer to play football here at VSU. I proudly accepted. My new goal was to make a name for myself on this new team.

  4. Making new friends I also made friends with some regular students once school started I became friends with most of the football players as soon as I arrived . We formed and early brotherhood type relationship

  5. MY ROOMATES IN CRIME My friends are Matt luck Terrell Roberts We had a great year here at VSU and were looking forward to the next three years as blazers

  8. Service Learning Meet the Blazers Meet the Blazers is something the VSU football team does at the being of each season. At Meet the Blazers we taught young kids some of the basics of football:howto catch, tackle and throw.

  9. Service learning • Habitat for Humanity Blazer Build • The Blazer football team helped rebuild a families home. • I taught me to never take anything for granted.

Service Learning – My thoughts • I enjoyed the community service that the Blazer football team did this year. • This was the first time I have ever done community service. • My favorite was the Meet the Blazers because I liked working with the kids. This experience showed me that I really want to be a coach. I want to be a positive role model for children.
