Northside ISD Overview of process • Using pictures to springboard discussion, groups conducted a SWOT analysis on posters • Table groups conducted a gallery walk of posters and came to agreement on most critical issue/opportunity for the district • Using identified issue/opportunity, groups drafted a strategy/goal (Objective)

Northside ISD Overview of process • Post SPAC work • Compiled data from SWOT analysis • Compiled and reviewed Critical Issues • Collapsed Critical Issues into broader Priorities • Superintendent’s Cabinet • Solidified Priorities • Drafted Objectives • Large Group reviewed new Priorities and Objectives to ensure intent of their work was reflected in the new plan

Northside ISD Results • Plan is no longer "siloed" by department • Increased community involvement in the creation of the plan • Learned how to get a lot of feedback in a reasonable period of time • Learned lessons for the next strategic planning process • Updated Beliefs, Mission and Vision in the planning process
