  2. New IQ Analyzer Available May 2000 6400/6600 Series

  3. Power Quality Monitoring • Over 150 metered parameters for comprehensive diagnostics • Assess trends, harmonics and waveforms to prevent process disruptions and equipment damage • Isolate and diagnose power quality problems by analyzing historical metered data • Control energy usage and costs via measurement, on-board data storage and time-of-use registers IQ Analyzer

  4. Overview • Revenue metering accuracy • ANSI C12.16 ( 1% ) • ANSI C12.20 ( 0.5% ) • IEC 687 / Canada ( 0.5% ) • Independent certification • Time Of Use Registers • Expanded event storage • UL/CUL/CE (CSA applied for) • New Display & Faceplate • 4 Custom Display Screens

  5. High-speed waveform capture Programmable event triggers 2 cycles @ 128 samples/cycle & 8 cycles @ 32 samples/cycle 11 channels of voltage & current information are saved Local display of waveform (6600 series only) Measures current and voltage through 50th harmonic Display harmonic spectrum on local display (6600 series only) IQ Analyzer Key Features

  6. IQ Analyzer Key Features • CBEMA/ITIC event display via PowerNet • dv/dt trigger captures subcycle voltage disturbances (6600 series only) • Communication flexibility: • INCOM via IPONI • Ethernet via EPONI & EPONIF • RS-232 via RS232PONI • Modbus via MPONI (Coming Soon!)

  7. IQ Analyzer Key Features • The IQ Analyzer stores 44 different minimum & maximum values including: • Current • Voltage • Power • Power Factor • Frequency • THD

  8. On-board event data logging Auxiliary I/O capabilities Analog Outputs (3) 0-20mA/4-20mA 1% accuracy Analog Input (1) 0-20mA/4-20mA 1% accuracy Digital Inputs (3) optically isolated +30Vdc Digital Outputs (4) Form C contacts 10A @ 240Vac IQ Analyzer Key Features

  9. IQ Analyzer Key Features • Monitors L-L, L-N, L-G and N-G voltage • PT ratios from 1:1 to 5,000:1 • Monitors phase, neutral and ground current • CT ratios from 5:5 to 10,000:5 • Up to 40A continuous, 300A for 1 second • Measures % Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) for current and voltage

  10. New Features • New Trending Capabilities • 4 Independent trends • Up to 6 parameters per trend • Can chose from over 94 parameters • Total of 90K bytes of storage • Single parameter every 15 min. for 234 days • Independent memory allocation for each trend • Used with PowerNet for CBEMA/ITIC curve plotting utility

  11. CBEMA Curve Utility

  12. New Features • New Trending Capabilities • Sampling rate can be set from 8 cycles to 5040 minutes (3 1/2 days) • Trend 1-3 can save data on a discrete input • Trend 4 can save data on an event • If the time period is set for an integer divisor of 60 the period starts at the next full hour.

  13. New Features • Data Logging Features • Time & Reason for last 504 Events • Any meter event is saved • New Status Change Indicators • Time of Alarms • Power Up • Resets • Setting Changes • INCOM Connection

  14. New Features • In addition to the data logging of the last 504 events last 10 Waveform Events are also stored • The real time clock can be synchronized to the line to correct for long term errors (w/o PowerNet) • Programmable CT Polarity Setting • Change CT polarity from calibration menu • Last event under “Power Factor”

  15. New Features • Time Of Use (TOU) Energy Registers • 32 Schedules • 8 Weekday - 8 Holiday • 8 Saturday - 8 Seasons • 8 Sunday • Each schedule can change 9 times a day • 4 Different utility rates • Watt-hours, VAR-hours, VA-hours recorded
