  4. HOUSE A House is a building for human being to live in. The people who live in a house are considered as a unit; social group; esp., a family or household.

  5. Houses come in many different shapes and sizes. They are made of many different kinds of materials depending on where they are located.

  6. DIFFERENT TYPES OF HOUSES

  8. House of snow (Igloo) Igloos are used as temporary houses to use on fishing and hunting expeditions.

  9. HOUSEBOAT A houseboat is a boat that has been designed or modified to be used primarily as a humandwelling.

  10. Hut(dwelling) A hut is a small and crude shelter, usually used for dwelling. Huts are quickly built of natural materials such as ice, leather, fur, straw, palm leaves, branches and/or mud

  11. Multi-storeyed building A multi-storeyed building is a building that has multiple floors above ground in the building. Multi-storey buildings aim to increase the area of the building without increasing the area of the land the building is built on, hence saving land and, in most cases, money.

  12. HOUSES IN ASSAM It rains heavily in Assam. The houses are made almost ten to twelve feet above the ground. They are made on strong bamboo pillars. The insides of houses are made of wood.

  13. HOUSES IN RAJASTHAN RAINFALL IS VERY SCARCE IN RAJASTHAN. SO, THE HOUSES ARE MADE OF MUD. THE ROOFS ARE MADE OF THORNY BUSHES.

  14. HOUSES IN BIG CITIES IN BIG CITIES LIKE DELHI AND MUMBAI, THERE ARE LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE LIVING BUT THE SPACE IS LESS AND HENCE THERE ARE MULTI STOREY BUILDINGS.

  15. HOUSES IN MANALI MANALI IS A HILLY AREA. IN MANALI ITVRAINS HEAVILY AND SNOWS AS WELL. THE HOUSES ARE MADE OF STONE OR WOOD.
