Background • Version 1.0 of the standard endorsed by OGIC in January 2012. • Basis for this amendment in discussions around the Preparedness FIT funding proposal that they were putting together in spring of 2013. • Various mechanisms for deriving a well location were mentioned. • Realized that the current standard didn’t capture that component of a location.

Elements - Required • Water well ID: generated when data submitted to repository (wwID) • Longitude (wwLongitude) • Latitude (wwLatitude) • Horizontal accuracy assessment (wwHorizontalAcc) • Location method (wwLocationMethod) • Well label (tag; wwLabel) • Other agency id (wwOtherID) • Name of person that created data record (wwUser) • Agency that the person represents (wwAgency) • Date record created (wwRecordDate)

Elements - Optional • Well log id: broken out by the four letter “county code” & log number (unique to the county) (wwLogCounty & wwLogNbr) • “Start card” id: Submitted in advance of well construction by the well constructor to OWRD (wwStartCardNbr) • Well “name”: local or agency reference (wwWellName) • Well owner: original owner's name or company name on the well log (wwOwner) • Address: Property where well located (wwAddress)

Elements – Optional, continued • Tax lot id (ORTaxlot#) (wwTaxlot) • Type of use: Primary use of the well (wwTypeofUse) • Original completion date (wwCompletionDate) • Total depth of the well (wwCompletedDepth) • Surface casing diameter (wwCasingDiam) • Depth to first water (wwDepth2Water) • Static water depth (wwStaticWater) • Drilling method (wwDrillingMethod) • Land surface elevation (wwLandSurfaceElevation) • Elevation remarks (wwElevationRemarks)
