UPGRADE RUCKUS LOCALMENTE. INSTALAR FTP SERVER. Cambiar IP del PC para que se encuentre en la misma Red Lan que el Ruckus. Ejemplo se utilizara la IP 192.168.1.45. Ingresar al Ruckus , revisar parámetros de IP, server y la imagen control que hay que modificar para hacer upgrade.

  1. UPGRADE RUCKUS LOCALMENTE

  2. INSTALAR FTP SERVER

  3. Cambiar IP del PC para que se encuentre en la misma Red Lan que el Ruckus. Ejemplo se utilizara la IP 192.168.1.45

  4. Ingresar al Ruckus, revisar parámetros de IP, server y la imagen control que hay que modificar para hacer upgrade.

  5. En el archivo adjunto llamado sample.rcks se debe modificar la IP del servidor TFTP (NUESTRA IP)

  6. Después se debe abrir un server TFTP en el PC y escoger el directorio donde esta el Firmware del Ruckus a cargar.

  7. Hacer clic en Upgrade desde el Ruckus AP

  8. Descarga terminada

  9. Finalmente hacer reboot al Ruckus para que tome los cambios realizados

  10. Una vez realizados los pasos anteriores se tiene que ingresar al Ruckusvia SSH y se tiene que escribir el siguiente comando, que hace que el equipo funcione mucho mejor.

  11. COMANDOS PARA INGRESAR • rkscli: set ap-bridge svcp disable OK • rkscli: get ap-bridge svcp • rkscli:svcp AP-Bridge Mode: Disabled • rkscli: set route video default OK NO OLVIDAR ESTE COMANDO • rkscli: reboot Rebooting in 2 seconds... please wait.

  12. Después de realizar un upgrade local, es necesario cambiar nuevamente la configuración de Upgrade del Ruckus para que pueda recibir actualizaciones masivas remotamente.   13. DESPUES DE ESTO SOLO QUEDA SALVAR LOS CAMBIOS (SAVE PARAMETERS ONLY).
