Ninth Class Day Rosters • Email sent out from University Registrar, Bob Vento (see sample email in your packet) • Terri Sullivan mails 9th class day roster to you with instructions (see memo from Bob Vento) • Important—Turn in (or mail) signed, annotated roster to CIL Department (not to the registrar’s office) • Student’s responsibility to find out why he/she is not on the roster • CIL office is responsible for assembling rosters and submitting to registrar's office

  4. Online Grade Submission • Grades are submitted via B.O.S.S • Registrar provides Faculty B.O.S.S. Login info • Faculty ID Number • PIN • See handouts for instructions • Faculty BOSS Grade Submission—Loading Grades • Faculty BOSS Online Grading PowerPoint • Degree candidates are to be uploaded earlier—watch for that

Course Evaluations • Course evaluation surveys sent out—about middle of quarter • Completed prior to examination week • Be sure to follow instructions for administering (see handout) • Must be returned by the last week of classes • Copy of course evaluation survey results sent to you the following quarter • Copy filed in CIL office • Confidential—will meet with anyone if there is a concern

  6. Course Syllabus & Blackboard Requirements • Must adhere to COE syllabus template • Must have syllabus and other course materials posted in Blackboard so that you continue your course via Blackboard in the event of an emergency. • Emergency Notification System must be included on syllabus

  7. Evaluation of Students • 400-level courses with both undergraduate and graduate students must have different set of evaluation • Example:

  8. Course Major Assignments • Beginning Fall Quarter 2007, course major assignments, or signature pieces, will be evaluated via the TaskStream web-based toolset and assessment system. All educator preparation program participants – both undergraduate and graduate - must individually subscribe to TaskStream, submit course signature pieces via TaskStream, and receive assignment feedback and grades via TaskStream. TaskStream subscription and operating information is available online at: https://www.taskstream.com/pub/. Failure to subscribe to and use the TaskStream assessment system, as directed, will result in an F grade (0%) in the designated course assignments.
