The faculty meeting held on April 28, 2008, discussed critical feedback from the Industry Advisory Board (IAB) concerning the Telecommunications Engineering (TE) program. Key areas of concern included the inadequate number of telecom engineers available for hire, outdated course content, and the program's image not being appealing to undergraduate students. The preliminary graduate program review highlighted a need for a strategic plan and improved communication within faculty and administration. Action items were set to enhance course relevance, strengthen collaboration, and create a better program image.
