  1. Why use electric linear actuator? Electric Linear Actuator is a device which transforms the electric motor's rotary motion into linear motion. Many other solutions can create straight-line movement, such as gear construction, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. The electric linear actuator is generally speaking a groundbreaking device that can meet various functional requirements and is simpler in terms of design, lower cost and more environmentally friendly. Electric cylinders have advantages over hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders: -An electric motor directly controls the electric linear actuator, and no intermediate medium such as oil or gas is needed to convert power. This will prevent inaccuracies caused by systemic failures due to oil leakage and air leakage, and an electrical control system 's output is superior to the hydraulic method. It has a higher speed, more load capacity and a longer life. -Electric linear actuator system performance is not affected by ambient temperature, easily contaminated hydraulic valves, fluid media, or other factors. -It also simplifies the connection between the motor and the servo drive, with no complicated oil pumps , pipes, cooling systems, and other hydraulic system accessories. -Electric linear actuators can be used, opposed to pneumatic cylinders, in applications where high pressure air is not suitable. The use of threads in linear motion provides greater speed and torque than the axial motion generated by the pneumatic cylinder. -Each action can be set separately in the latest electric servo system when controlling speed, position, and torque. This feature allows a simple, fully automated "cylindrical" system, with advantages of small size, excellent performance and easy maintenance. -The electric linear actuators can also use the technology of the ball screw to give the system higher mechanical rigidity, longer life and greater resistance to impacts. The highly efficient and rigid ball screw is suitable for precise positioning, reproducible long distance movement and repeatable large axial load movement, and allows the higher reliability and longer life of the electric linear actuator. There are also the following unique features for the linear actuator itself: -Precise positioning. The servo control system is highly accurate as driven by servo motor, and its cooperation with the precision transfer elements can greatly enhance the control accuracy of the electric linear actuator and achieve an accurate positioning of about 0.01 mm. -Rapid reaction to motion. The linear speed limit is 55mm / s while the hydraulic cylinder can only be 35mm / s -Wide load capacities range. Loading linear actuators from tens of kilograms to hundreds of tonnes. -Long service. Using high-precision conversion parts such as ball screws can minimize friction and increase electric linear actuators' service life. -Simplified structure, use space to its maximum.The linear actuators are a non-standard product and can be built to suit the space allowed. High environmentally friendly applicability. Can be used in extreme conditions including low temperatures , high temperatures, drought, rain and wind etc. Thus environmental factors must be taken into account in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. -The electric linear actuator is quieter, since there is no need for additional pressure device.
