First Year Review • NESRB Achievements in Year 1 • Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Survey – now complete and accessible via NESRB website • GIS Portal development – now live via NESRB website • Resource Management Plan – drafted and ready for distribution in October • Set up Company Limited by Guarantee, NESR Ltd • Established links with Defra, BIS, WRAP and the LWaRB • First Annual Conference in March

First Year Review - Stakeholder Group input • Even more relevant in a “non regional” world • The need for a Public/Private Sector voice • NESR Ltd as a template for other areas • “The” place to go for information and data • Enhance links with other bodies, eg LEPS, NECC, WRAP etc • “When all other regional bodies are dissolved, • what remains behind is the glue that holds things together “

NESRB Plans for 2011- 12 • Develop the Board’s “Project List” • Build on established brand • Widen the Board’s scope • Increase funding and membership of Board • Strengthen links with Government Departments • Build on links with public/third sectors (Big Society) • Complete the Resource Management Plan and develop other projects

NESRB - Dates of 2011/12 meetings • Board meetings:- 3rd October – Turner and Townsend, Newcastle 2012:- 16th January (plus AGM) 2nd July • 2nd April 8th October Stakeholder Group meetings:- 15th November - Devonshire Building, Newcastle University 2012:- 13th March 4th September 12th June 20th November NESRB Conference – Thursday 17th May 2012
