This study explores the use of gene expression profiles as predictors of relapse in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) using Support Vector Machine analysis. The genetic subtype accuracy, as indicated by a permutation test, was found to be 97% for hyperdiploid cases and above 50%. Genes identified to be associated with relapse include Z82206, UQCRFS1, X83301, and others. The study also investigates the role of CCR in T-ALL relapse, analyzing genes like W73822, FLJ22448, J04132, among others. Promising results were obtained, with the accuracy of predicting relapse reaching 97%.
