  9. What does JUPAS application require? 1. SLP 2. Reference Report 3. JUPAS Application Form

  10. What is SLP? • Student Learning Profile • SLP is a summary presentation of what a student achieves and participates, in terms of their whole person development during the senior secondary years. • Equivalent to electronic CV or resume

  11. What does SLP contain? • Academic performance in school • (provided by school) what a student • achieves • Awards gained outside school • (provided by student) • OLE recordwhat a student • (provided by school) participates • Student’s ‘self-account’ • (provided by student)

  12. Student’s ‘self-account’ • Highlight any impressive learning experiences or career goal setting • No more than 1000 words in English or 1600 words in Chinese • Prepare the first draft in summer • Rewrite it if OLE in Grade 12 from Sept to Nov change your career goal setting significantly • Final version ready in December

  14. Reference Report • To be completed by your subject teachers and ECA teachers - a maximum of 8 reference reports for each student • To be conducted in September/October

What is OEA? • Other Experiences and Achievements • To list up to a maximum of 20 items of your activities / achievements • Students should make reference to your own SLPs when completing the form • Highlight the essence of your recent personal development and hence, do not have to enter all 20 items

Academic Performance In School At Secondary Six • Percentile and overall rating of academic performance in schools based on the latest results in Secondary Six • If mock exam is earlier than the submission deadline, mock exam results will be the latest results • If mock exam is later than the submission deadline, final exam results in G11 will be the latest results

Additional Information • Describe in not more than 300 words (in either English or Chinese) an interest or experience that has been particularly meaningful to you, or how it has affected your personal growth and life goals • Nearly equivalent to a summary of ‘self-account’ • To be ready in December

Get prepared… • Evaluate your OLE record in summer and make up OLE hours for the five designated areas in Grade 12 • Prepare the first draft of 1000/1600-word self-account in summer and final version in Dec • Prepare a list up to a maximum of 20 items of activities/achievements for OEA in summer and finalize in Dec • Prepare the first draft of 300-word additional information for JUAPS Application Form in summer and final version in Dec • Prepare the preliminary 20 programme choices in summer and finalize in Dec
