  1. Navy Seals By: Cole Held

  2. The Navy Seals A Navy seal is a specialized unit of the United States Navy that deploys on special missions to help defend and protect Americans all over the world. In the future the navy will be better equipped to defend America with an advancement in weapons and training. We will be better off when the government opens more schools and training facilities across the country.

  3. What is the purpose of the seals The purpose of the Navy seals is to serve and to protect. The American Navy sends seals on missions that require a high amount of skill. The seals have protected the army since before World War II.

  4. The seals training Here’s a fact about training . Only about 25% of trainees (students) make it through boot camp to become a seal. The training takes over 30 months. There are three phases that include running, swimming and obstacle courses.”Training becomes more difficult with each phase said Tom Frien”.

  5. Navy seal weapon system. A seal has never been taken prisoner, because of their advanced weapon system. Their main assault rifle is the standard issue M16. Their side arm is the glock nine millimeter. The seal sniper uses the m40a1 carbine. This takes an M40a1 lapua cartridge.

  6. The types of missions “The missions they go on are mostly the higher risk missions said Robert Rounds’’. The seals go on the missions that normal soldiers can’t go on because they aren’t properly trained. These missions are the hardest missions that you can go on in the armed forces.
