  2. What do you want to be when you get older? Some of you may want to fight for your country by becoming a Navy SEAL. By becoming a Navy SEAL you get to challenge yourself by taking on the strict Navy SEAL requirements. You get to have fun doing important duties and you may get to go on exciting missions.

  3. These Are the Duties You Acquire When You Become A Navy SEAL • You will serve your country • You may get the chance to terminate America’s most dangerous enemies • You may get to operate heavy machinery such as boats • You may get the chance to use advanced weapons • You will be part of one of the most feared groups in the world

  4. These Are The Navy SEAL Requirements • Must be male between the age of 18 and 28 • Must be a high school graduate • Must have a clean criminal record • Must pass the ASVB Test • Must pass basic Navy SEAL training (P.S.T) and have great vision.

  5. To get into the SEALs, you have to be 18 or older, but no older than 28. Some SEAL aspirants are given an age waiver, but only for those between the ages of 29 and 30. You also must be male.

  6. To become a SEAL, you need a high school diploma. You also must be an American citizen, and you must have a clean criminal record to join the SEALs.

  7. To be accepted into the SEALs, you must pass the ASVAB test. ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery. The ASVAB tests on math, word power, paragraph comprehension, arithmetic, and general science.

  8. If you want to join the SEALs, you must pass the Physical Screening Test or P.S.T. In this test you must… • Swim 500 yards in 12 ½ minutes or less • Be able to do 42 push ups in 2 minutes • Do 6 pull ups; no time limit • Complete 50 sit ups within 20 minutes • Run 1 ½ miles in under 11 ½ minutes • You also must have good eyesight. If it is worse that 20/20, it must be correctedwith glasses or contacts.
