  3. Degrees offered • Working closely with an academic advisor, you can select an associate degree program that will take you on one of three pathways: • Directly to the workforce. These career-focused degree programs prepare you for • immediate employment. • Transfer to a college or university. These transfer-oriented programs fulfill the general • studies requirements of a bachelor’s degree, allowing you to save thousands in tuition by • starting at Schoolcraft before transferring to a four-year school. • Articulation agreement. These agreements with selected universities enable you to earn a specific career-focused associate degree at Schoolcraft and transfer into a specific bachelor’s degree program at the four-year campus.

  4. History • Schoolcraft College was established in 1961. Originally named Northwest Wayne County Community College, the name of the college was changed because of the length.[4] On February 6, 1963, the college officially changed the name to Schoolcraft College, after an American geologist Henry Schoolcraft. The school's name omits the word "community", both to keep the name short, and to avoid the assumption on the part of the public that the school is located in or associated with Schoolcraft County.[

  5. Tuition • When students register for classes they are required to pay tuition and fees in full or to sign up for the tuition payment plan. The college accepts cash, checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard and Discover. The payment plan allows for tuition and fees to be paid in installments.
