  3. Salary • US • 3.3%-4% per cell per year tied to health insurance contribution • THEM • 3% per cell per year

  4. Stipend • US • Status quo • THEM • Eliminate for new hires

  5. Load • US • 6%/hour for distance education courses – all others status quo • $ impact = 1.4 fte instructor • THEM • 5.2%/hr for all distance education courses, hybrid • 4.8%/hr for traditional goes to 4.9%/hr • Threshold # for preps goes from 3 to 4 • $ impact = 2.72 fte instructor

  6. Scheduling/Infosilem • US • Continue multiple round scheduling • Allow instructor preference setting in Infosilem • THEM • They approve instructor preferences prior • “Let us have control, trust us”

  7. Tentative Agreements • Use of sick leave • Sick leave/personal leave during summer school • Rehiring of retired CVTC instructors’ work load • Probationary period for voluntary transfers • Part-time instructor’s right to work • DC/PD compensation • Technical support for instruction • Release time for Union Vice-President • Travel load for short trips • Length of contract
